Maybe Me

An experimental short film inspired by friends and heroes who have died tragically. The film hopes to open conversations that shed more light on our cultures fascination of eternal youth, use and abuse of substances. The great losses of talent and loved ones remain a problem and challenge in our culture. Bobby wakes up from a dream in Washington Square Park in New York City, haunted by the loss of his friends and heroes, and encounters his own near death and challenges of survival.

I met Dusty Rhodes walking home on Memorial Day, 2012 through Washington Square Park. Dusty was getting ready to do what he does every day. Dusty, an amazingly talented street musician full of life, love, passion and the truest spirit of what makes New York City what it is- a place for freedom of expression and self actualization. That of course, is only possible if you can walk through the challenges that only the city will provide you daily.
