what if I bought Marshall Crenshaw’s old place in Woodstock you know it’s up for sale about three hundred fifty thousand dollars and it could be mine
I’d sit inside and stay away form the wine change things around a bit not sure why the sink is in the corner why he had so many wine glasses and bar stools
guess he liked wine or the new owner made it that way
not something I like at all I say
what if I bought Marshall Crenshaw’s old place up in Woodstock and make a new change
I’d sit and write and play a bit try and become the man I’d be different than the one I made in New York City
a scared little boy just trying to survive and live out my days cause I’m too scared to take a stand
